Summer T.A.F.F.Y
Summer T.A.F.F.Y. is a park program for children at least 5 years of age, and has been in operation over 62 years in the Town of Big Flats. The program runs for 5 weeks starting at the end of June. Summer T.A.F.F.Y. operates from 5 of the parks in the Town of Big Flats. The children are supervised by trained college and high school students. Activities include: outdoor games, crafts, and weekly field trips. The program is Monday – Friday, 9am – 2:45pm.
Winter
T.A.F.F.Y
Winter T.A.F.F.Y. is also known as “Bingo”. Students in grades Kindergarten-4th meet at the Community Center on most Friday nights from 5:00 - 7:30pm. This program runs September until Spring Break. The children have a pizza dinner, play bingo and other games while being supervised by college and high school counselors. The admission fee is a canned food to benefit the Big Flats Food Pantry.
After School
Program
After school programs for children in 3rd and 4th grade from Big Flats Elementary School participate in different sessions throughout the school year. The sessions last for four to six weeks at a time. The sessions include gardening, cooking, healthy lifestyles, board games, and chess club.

Services
Y.E.S. operates year-round as a job referral service for teens, ages 14–21 who are looking for work, and individuals, business, or groups who need work completed. Some of the most frequently requested jobs are: lawn care, childcare, domestic chores, painting, pet-sitting, and snow removal. Other various requests come from businesses, individuals, or groups. Youth that have reached the age of 16 may also apply to work for Summer and/or Winter T.A.F.F.Y.
Teen
Commission
Teen Commission is for high school students in grades 9-12. Monthly meetings are self governed by the teens, with supervision, to plan and implement events for peers and other age groups. The teens also participate in community service opportunities. The monthly meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of the month at the Community Center.
Youth Organization
Youth Organization is for students in grades 5-8. Meetings, events and community service projects are scheduled throughout the year. The monthly meetings are held on the 4th Monday of the month at the Community Center, September-May, unless there is an event planned on a different day that month.
